He was also seen in flashbacks in ''[[AG182|Channeling the Battle Zone!]]'' and ''[[DP128|A Pyramiding Rage!]]''.

- "You're genuinely fantastic! Never before! I haven't ever lost in the times I've had to unleash my power. Yes, quite fantastic! Your Frontier Pass, please?"
- "You're strong above all, you have a unique charm! In you, I see a definite potential for a superstar like me. I will very much look forward to our next encounter!"

In the anime
Tucker's only major anime appearance was in the episode Tactics Theatrics!!.
In the anime, Tucker is a big superstar. He likes to entertain others, and he has many fans. Automatically before the battle, he allows challengers to send in their Pokémon from other locations. Even though Ash was allowed to do this, he still used two Pokémon from his current party, Corphish and Swellow.
Tucker used his Arcanine and Swampert in a Double Battle against Ash. The battle took place in the Battle Dome in front of a large audience. Tucker was defeated by Ash, although he held a strong start for a while with his Pokémon's teamwork and strategy, including the use of the 'Fusion of Fire and Water', an advanced combination which involved trapping the opponents in a water and fire whirlwind (a technique which May later adapted into her own battling style).
He was also seen in flashbacks in Channeling the Battle Zone! and A Pyramiding Rage!.
Pokémon
This listing is of Tucker's known Pokémon in the anime:
Swampert was one of the two Pokémon that battled against Ash's Corphish and Ash's Swellow, and gave Ash a run for his money. Swampert and Arcanine seemed like a perfect combination, taking advantage of Arcanine's speed and its defense as stated by Brock in the episode. In the Double Battle, Swampert's main target was Corphish. Even though it looked bad for Ash, after Tucker used the Fusion of Fire and Water, Corphish and Swellow gained their fighting spirit and came back to win the match for Ash. Swampert was defeated by a devastating Aerial Ace from Swellow.
It made other appearances in flashbacks in Channeling the Battle Zone! and A Pyramiding Rage!. Swampert's known moves are Protect, Mud Shot, Dynamic Punch, Water Gun, and Water Pulse.

In the manga
In the Pokémon Adventures manga
At the beginning of the Battle Frontier saga, Tucker was assaulted by Emerald while riding to the Battle Frontier Opening Ceremony on his Salamence. Tucker was promptly tied up and thrown backstage during the opening ceremony, where he is found by the other Brains after Emerald bumps into them, thinking that Scott was a desk attendant. They untie him and he starts yelling at Emerald, on stage. Scott tells him to be quiet, and Tucker grows a flaming grudge against Emerald. Tucker bears witness to Emerald's victory over Noland, and immediately tries to make the boy come to his facility. However, the Battle Dome is actually Emerald's fifth challenge, and the only one he lost.
Unlike the games, Tucker actually takes part in the tournaments rather than just challenging a Trainer after winning a set number of tournaments. He also says that in accordance with tournament rules, the winner of the tournament, whether it be him, Emerald, or someone else, will receive the Symbol. However, he also adds that he won't lose, and is the only Brain to be able to defeat Emerald, if only because he switched out his entire party.
Pokémon
Salamence is Tucker's main Pokémon. He has been used outside of the Battle Frontier and as a mode of flight transportation. Emerald hitched a ride on Salamence at one point when he wanted to have access to the Battle Frontier. He first was used in battle against Sapphire's Rono with the results of its specific battle unseen. When Emerald was about to challenge Tucker, Sapphire mentions that Salamence will go up first according to the sequence of his Pokémon, having lost to him in the semi-finals against Tucker. However, this wasn't the case as Charizard went up instead.
Salamence's known moves are Flamethrower and Fire Blast, and his Ability is Intimidate.
Debut | Swanky Showdown with Swalot |

Charizard was sent out during Emerald's challenge against Tucker. Charizard was a tough opponent as it was able to defeat both Emerald's Alakazam and Metagross while withstanding a Thunder Punch and a Rock Tomb.
Charizard's known moves are Flamethrower, Earthquake, and Overheat.

Mentioned
When Ruby was wondering the sequence of Tucker's Pokémon, Sapphire mentions that Metagross will go last. However, since Charizard defeated Emerald's Pokémon single-handedly, Metagross was not seen.

In the Pokémon Battle Frontier manga
Tucker makes an appearance in Introducing the Frontier Brains! where he introduces himself and his two Pokémon (while admiring them) to Enta. He battles Enta in a Double Battle. He was able to defeat Enta's Vulpix but lost to his Feebas after it activated Swift Swim when Enta's Vulpix blew a hole in the roof with Flamethrower earlier. Tucker then tells Enta that his Feebas wouldn't have stood a chance against his Pokémon due to it being ugly. After the battle, Feebas evolves into Milotic, proving Tucker wrong.

Trivia
- Tucker is the only Frontier Brain whom Emerald didn't defeat to win a Symbol, aside from Anabel, who simply awarded him her Ability Symbol for having battled with her fairly while she was under Guile's control. In turn, Tucker is also the only Brain who never lost a fight with Emerald to yield him a Symbol, since the 10 Pokédex holders had their own tournament instead.
