Trivia

This card's Pokémon Power when used in tandem with Brock's Ninetales's Shapeshift Pokémon Power was widely exploited in Japanese leagues and tournaments before an errata was issued that prevented Pokémon Powers from being used when using Brock's Ninetales' Shapeshift Pokémon Power.

Origin

Petal Whirlwind appears to be based on Petal Dance, a move in the Pokémon games that Vileplume can learn.
