(Japanese: ダンゴロ Dangoro) is a Template:Type2 Pokémon introduced in Generation V.

Biology

Physiology

Dangoro is a Rock-type Pokémon with a rocky, blue-and-brown body. It has a hexagonal, yellow artifice in the center of its body, and a black hexagon within the feature, giving the feature resemblances to an eye. Dangoro have brown, upraised rocky features above their body, and similar brown rocks that seem to comprise their feet.

Dangoro is based on a stone.

Name origin

Dangoro may be a combination of corruptions of ドンゴ dongo, or ゴロ goro meaning grounder. It may also come from ゴロゴロ goro goro, the Japanese onomatopoeia for the sound of a boulder or a rock rolling down.
