(Japanese: ダン Dan) is the character of the day in BW003. He is voiced by 福圓美里 Misato Fukuen in Japanese.

Dan is a young boy who lives near a Spa Resort, a resort famous for its sand bath. Upon meeting Ash and Iris, he invites them to take a sand bath in their spa resort but suddenly, a group of Meguroco starts digging the sand and makes thing worse for the gang. Later on, Dan explains to the gang about the Meguroco incident that has been occurring quite often for a few days.

After the Meguroco takes Ash's Pikachu and Oshawott into the mountains Dan tags along, thinking that the reason the Meguroco are scaring the people away is that the geysers are erupting. Later it is seen that the geysers have done more good than harm and have put Dan and his father back in business with a brand new hot spring, which he treats Ash and Iris to.

He made a brief appearance in Ash's flashback in BW012.
