Cursed Body (Japanese: のろわれボディ Cursed Body) is an Ability introduced in Generation V. Five Pokémon can have this Ability, all of which are Ghost types.

Effect

In battle

Cursed Body has a 30% chance of disabling the opponent's used offensive move when attacked for 3 turns (including the turn Cursed Body activates). This works even if the attacker is behind a substitute and when the user is knocked out, but will not activate if the Pokémon with Cursed Body is behind a substitute. If Cursed Body disables a multi-strike move before it has finished all of its hits, it will not prevent the other hits from being executed.

Outside of battle

Cursed Body has no effect outside of battle.
