The Colorless type is one of the eleven TCG types. It is represented by the color white, and symbolized by a six-pointed star.
The Colorless type contains all Normal- and Flying-type Pokémon found in the main series video games. For example, Rattata and Tornadus are Colorless types in the TCG.
Prior to the Dragons Exalted set, the Colorless type also contained all Dragon-type Pokémon found in the main series video games. For example, Rayquaza and Dragonite were Colorless types in the TCG. However, Dragon-type Pokémon are now Dragon type cards.
The Colorless type can be seen as the "neutral" type of the game, as attacks with an Energy card cost listed with Colorless Energy may use any of the other types of Energy to count for that Colorless. Due to this, unlike the other types, there is no Basic Energy card associated with Colorless; all cards providing only Colorless Energy are Special Energy cards.
