This article is about the glitches involving the Coin Case in all Generation II games except for Crystal. They all involve listening to a Pokémon's cry then immediately using the Coin Case.

Machop glitch

Main article: Glitch dimension

Either talk to the Machop in Vermilion City, the Machoke in the Goldenrod Department Store or view the Pokédex entry of Machop, Machoke or Machamp then use the Coin Case.

Dratini glitch

After the cry of Dratini is heard (either by interacting with one in Blackthorn City or viewing its Pokédex entry), and the Coin Case is subsequently used, the Coin Case's display will change from "Coins: ..." to "Which move?he pp of" permanently unless the game is reset without saving.

Others

Listening to the cry of any other Pokémon (most commonly by viewing its Pokédex entry) may cause glitchy effects when the player uses the Coin Case, depending on which Pokémon's cry is heard.
