Close Combat (Japanese: インファイト Infight) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation IV.

Effect

Close Combat inflicts damage and then lowers the user's Defense stat and Special Defense stat by one stat level each.

In the anime

Staraptor: Staraptor gets close to its opponent and kicks, slashes, and pecks it with its talons and beak.

  • Used by Jun's Staraptor in DP101. Debut.
