Cissy (Japanese: ? Atsumi) is the Gym Leader of the Mikan Island Gym. She hands out the Coral Eye Badge to trainers who defeat her. She specializes in Water-type Pokémon. One of the rules of her Gym is that opponents are required to use Water-type Pokémon aswell.
Cissy lives with her little brother, who is also a Pokémon Trainer.
When Ash challenged her for a Gym Badge, he discovered that she doesn't compete in the Gym via regular Pokémon Battles, but rather in other excercises.
