Chuck's wife in the anime

Chuck's wife (Japanese: シジマの奥さん Shijima's wife) is the wife of the Cianwood City Gym Leader, Chuck. She first appeared in Pokémon Gold and Silver, and reappeared with the same role in Pokémon Crystal and Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.

In the games

Chuck's wife would usually be found standing outside the Cianwood Gym in Cianwood City. She will give the player HM02 (Fly) after the player defeats her husband.

In the Generation IV remakes, she will walk up to the player when he/she defeats her husband. Also, as Chuck would be constantly training after his defeat, she will give out Chuck's number for a rematch instead of Chuck himself.
