Chip Away (Japanese: なしくずし Little by Little) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation V.
Effect
Chip Away inflicts damage, ignoring any changes to the target's Defense and evasion. It does not ignore changes caused by Reflect, Abilities such as Sand Veil or items such as Eviolite.
Unlike moves that cannot miss (such as Swift), Chip Away does not ignore changes to the user's accuracy.
