This card was originally released in the Diamond & Pearl expansion with artwork by Ken Sugimori. In March 2007, a Cosmos Holofoil variant of this print was one of the cards available in the US 2007 Spring Collector's Tins as a special sneak preview before the actual release of the expansion. It was subsequently released outside the US in Special Edition Blisters later that year. This Holofoil variant was released again in the Classic Trio Boxes in January 2009, as well as being made available in several European countries as part of various Summer tour events taking place between July and October 2009. A promotional parallel foil variant with a "Diamond & Pearl" stamp was also released as part of a Burger King promotion in July 2008.
