Celadon Condominiums (Japanese: タマムシマンション Tamamushi Mansion), known as Celadon Mansion until Generation IV due to a mistranslation, is a large building found in Celadon City. It is here that players of both the Generation I games and their FireRed and LeafGreen can find an Eevee, and where players of the Generation II games can find 03 at night.

It is also the home of the in-game Game Freak development studio, where the lead developer will give the player a diploma that signifies that they have completed the National Pokédex.
The Celadon Condominiums (Japanese: タマムシマンション Tamamushi Condominiums) is a four-floored building found in Celadon City that serves as Game Freak's headquarters in Kanto.

Celadon Condominiums play a more vital role in . The player must enter the building, where, on the first floor, he/she will encounter an old woman. The old woman will give the player Drink, which he/she must give to one of the guards in the gates surrounding Saffron City. Also, if the player is pursuing the Fame Checker sidequest, the second floor proves useful as well, as it provides information about Erika.
Prior to Generation IV, it was called the Celadon Mansion in the Western releases due to a mistranslation. This is because マンション mansion is a loanword in Japanese that refers to condominiums, not a mansion.

Going into the Condominiums from the back not only leads the player to Eevee, but to the Know-It-All man as well; this NPC provides the player with standard information concerning status changes if the player reads the blackboard, much like the Pokémon academy in Viridian City.
Role
The Celadon Condominiums is the home of the in-game Game Freak development studio in the Kanto region, where the lead developer will give the player a diploma that signifies that they have completed the National Pokédex. In Yellow, , the graphic artist at the Game Freak Development Room on the third floor also asks the player if they want to Game Boy Printer as proof.

In , the key item GB Sounds can be obtained from here, after getting all 16 Badges. The building was apparently renovated, with the backdoors having been wiped out and a new system of two elevators added, which take player to different places of the building.
Generations I and III
Players of the Generation I games and FireRed and LeafGreen can find an Eevee inside the room at the roof. There is a NPC in the room who provides the player with standard information concerning status conditions on his blackboard, much like the Pokémon academy in Viridian City. In FireRed and LeafGreen, he also explains how to use the Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter.

Also, if the player is pursuing the Fame Checker sidequest, then she provides information about Daisy Oak. The Game Freak Meeting Room on the second floor proves useful as well as the Pokémon Journal contains information on Erika.

Trivia
* In , the man that gives the player the Type-enhancing item implies that riding north on Cycling Road will reduce the player's speed. However, there is no longer a speed decrease in Generation IV.
* In the Generation I and II games, there are four Game Freak employees at the Game Freak Development Room on the third floor of Celadon Condominiums. During the Iwata Asks about HeartGold and SoulSilver, Shigeki Morimoto stated that the team only had four programmers developing Red and Green and Gold and Silver. Despite this, only one of the Game Freak NPCs in Celadon Condominiums is a programmer. The credits of Blue, Yellow, and Crystal also list additional programmers.
* The name change never happened in the Japanese versions; this is because マンション mansion is a loanword that refers to condominiums, not a mansion, thus the translation was corrected in HeartGold and SoulSilver.
* In Crystal only, there is an Easter egg on the right side of the staircase that leads up from the roof's entrance/exit. Interacting with this wall yields the text "There's graffiti on the wall... <Player> added a moustache!"

Pokémon world locations

The Celadon Condominiums (Japanese: タマムシマンション Tamamushi Condominiums) is a four-floored building found in Celadon City that serves as Game Freak's headquarters in Kanto.

Prior to Generation IV, it was called the Celadon Mansion in the Western releases due to a mistranslation. This is because マンション mansion is a loanword in Japanese that refers to condominiums, not a mansion.

Role

The Celadon Condominiums is the home of the in-game Game Freak development studio in the Kanto region, where the lead developer will give the player a diploma that signifies that they have completed the National Pokédex. In Pokémon Yellow, Gold, Silver, and Crystal, the graphic artist at the Game Freak Development Room on the third floor also asks the player if they want to print their diploma as proof.

Generations I and III

Players of the Generation I games and Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen can find an Eevee inside the room at the roof. There is a NPC in the room who provides the player with standard information concerning status conditions on his blackboard, much like the Pokémon academy in Viridian City. In FireRed and LeafGreen, he also explains how to use the Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter.

The Condominiums play a more vital role in FireRed and LeafGreen. The player must enter the building, where, at the Manager's Suite on the first floor, they will encounter an old woman, the manager of the facility. She will give the player Tea, which they must give to one of the guards in the gates surrounding Saffron City. Also, if the player is pursuing the Fame Checker sidequest, then she provides information about Daisy Oak. The Game Freak Meeting Room on the second floor proves useful as well as the Pokémon Journal contains information on Erika.

Generations II and IV

In the Generation II games, players can obtain TM03 (Curse) from the man inside the room at the roof at night. In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, he gives out the Spell Tag instead. Also in HeartGold and SoulSilver, he implies that riding north on Cycling Road will reduce the player's speed; while true in the Generation II games, there is no longer a speed decrease in HeartGold and SoulSilver.

Exclusively in HeartGold and SoulSilver, the key item GB Sounds can be obtained here, after getting all 16 Badges.
