Carol is a minor character in the second Pokémon movie, [[Pokémon 2000]]. She is the older sister of [[Melody]] and is head of the festival celebrations of her home of Shamuti Island in the centre of the [[Orange Islands]]. She previously played the Festival Maiden who led the festivities about the three legendary birds ([[Moltres]], [[Zapdos]], [[Articuno]]) and their tamer, [[Lugia]], however she has become too old and Melody has reluctantly taken her place. Carol is good friends with [[Maren]], another resident of the Orange Islands. Carol initally doesn't help in the plot of the film, but allows Melody to go out to find Ash. She awaits the return of Melody throughout the remainder of the film. She appears briefly in the credits, waving goodbye to Maden who leaves the island.
