The captain is a recurring character who appeared in Cilan and the Case of the Purrloin Witness! and Best Wishes Until We Meet Again!. He was not given a name in the Japanese version or dub.

He went to interrogate a business man, Mr. Shaw, when the security cameras showed him inside Mrs. Ripple's room just after one of her rare jewels was stolen.
