==Preforming the Glitch==
First, the performer of the glitch must poison the Pokémon (preferred a weak one to faint quicker) and be linked with another person. You then enter the trade center and go into the trade menu, press cancel, and walk around until your pokémon faints. After the Pokémon faints, the executor of the glitch receives the normal no Pokémon left message, causing a black out. After that, the player character will appear outside of the Pokémon Center used previously, you then have to teleport to the the Indigo Plateau and enter the Elite Four. You walk up to Lorelei and battle her. This is when the glitch goes into effect. When you go into battle, Lorelei will look like you and have no name, she will then send out whatever pokemon your partner had. This happens because the game still thinks you are in the Trade Center, hence the reset instead of save in your menu. After you beat her you will get the normal message from her and move onto Bruno. When you battle Bruno he too will appear as a look alike had have no name, he then sends out a level 100 [[Charizard 'M]], which is extremely hard to beat, it also knows the moves Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt, Leech Seed, and Surf which are not in the normal Charizard 'M learnset.

The Cable Club black out glitch is a glitch in Pokémon Red and Blue Versions, first documented by the user Paco81 on the Spanish Pokémon-Stats forum, that causes some gliches in the Elite Four

It works by keeping the reset option on the menu (which is temporarily used in the Cable Club Trade Center instead of save).

Requirements

In order to perform this glitch, the player must have met the following requirements;

  • The player must be able to access the Indigo Plateau through using Fly.
  • The player must have not yet beaten the Elite Four.
  • The player must have only one Pokémon on hand, and said Pokémon must know Fly.
  • Another person with a copy of Red or Blue must be able to link with the player, and must also have only one Pokémon on hand (this one does not need to know Fly).

Performing the glitch

First, the player needs to poison their Pokémon (A low-level Pokémon is preferable, as it will faint faster) and be linked with another person. The player then enters the trade center and initiates a trade with the other person. The player then presses cancel, and walks around until the poison causes the Pokémon to faint. After the Pokémon faints, the player blacks out as normal. After that, the player will appear outside of the Pokémon Center used previously, and flies to Indigo Plateau, enters the Elite Four area, and initiates a battle with Lorelei. When the battle starts, Lorelei will have the player's sprite, and have no name. The Pokémon she sends out will be whatever Pokémon the person you linked with had. This happens because the game thinks the player still is in the Trade Center. Upon victory, she gives her usual speech and allows the player to move onto Bruno. Bruno will also appear as the player and have no name. He will send out a level 100 Charizard 'M, which knows Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt, Leech Seed, and Surf.
