Bulbapedia:Editor-in-Chief

The Editor-in-Chief of Bulbapedia is the head editor of Bulbapedia, in charge of coordinating the activities of the Editorial Board as well as directing the editors of Bulbapedia in general. Generally, the Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the appearance of the wiki, and is one of Bulbagarden's chief executives, answering directly to Archaic.

The Editor-in-Chief will serve in this position for two years. In even-numbered years, the Editor-in-Chief will choose a successor, usually from among the Editorial Board, in January, train their successor throughout the year, gradually giving them more responsibility, and finally, giving their successor the full power of Editor-in-Chief in December. At this point, the old Editor-in-Chief will remain indefinitely as an Executive Policymaker on the wiki, serving as an adviser to the current one.
