'''Disambiguation''' pages can refer to multiple things; therefore, they have links pointing users to more specific articles. For example, if you were to search for {{p|Pikachu}}, a disambiguation page would come up, saying that ''Pikachu'' is a species of Pokémon, but that it is also a Pokémon belonging to [[Ash Ketchum]], that it is featured in the game [[Hey You, Pikachu!]], and pretty much everything about any Pikachu.

'''Disambiguation pages''' are used on a wiki in order to differentiate between several things which can be written about, but have the same name. For example, there are several characters who share a name with another character, like [[Jimmy (Hoenn)]], a [[character of the day]] who appeared during the {{series|Advanced Generation}}, and [[Jimmy (Johto)]], one of the protagonists of the ''[[The Legend of Thunder!]]'' special.

There have been complaints that disambiguation pages are annoying, especially to people with Internet connections, as it takes long to load, and then they have to load yet another page. The answer to this is simple, however. If you are searching for the species, simply put (Pokémon) behind the name of the species. This will always direct you to the page of the species. If you are looking for a specific one, put the name of the owner in front of the name, for example: [[Ash's Pikachu]]. If you are looking for a game, it will usually not go to a disambiguation page if you type the name of the set. So ''[[Pearl]]'' should not by put in, but rather ''[[Pokémon Diamond and Pearl]]''.
Whereas on other wikis, disambiguation pages are used and created after the fact, Bulbapedia has many disambiguation pages which are already prepared to be used in case of a Pokémon's capture in the {{pkmn|anime}} or one of the many {{pkmn|manga}} series, among other instances. These disambiguation pages are utilized mostly to assist in linking within other articles using {{bp|link templates}} so that an article that is incorrectly linked can be found and corrected more quickly.

There have also been complaints about some users not knowing how to type the é in Pokémon, sometimes making disambiguation pages unavoidable. On a lot of keyboards made my Microsoft, to get an é, the ('') key should be pressed once, and then the e key. This will result in an é. Note that the the ('') is in parentheses, because if they aren't, it automatically results in italics, because of the system. On a lot of keyboards made by Apple, to get an é you must ??????
