Bucky (Japanese: キイチ Kīchi) is a character of the day who appeared in The Dunsparce Deception. He is voiced by Amy Birnbaum in English and 桑島法子 Hōko Kuwashima in Japanese.
A young boy who lives in Johto, Bucky dreamed of capturing a Dunsparce. However, he missed out on his chance to capture one when he was out of town. During that time, a swarm of Dunsparce came through the area. All of his friends captured a Dunsparce, and Bucky was the only one who didn't get one.
When Ash and his friends heard about this, they decided to help Bucky out. Eventually, a Dunsparce turned up. Bucky, using his Caterpie battled the Pokémon and successfully weakened it. He threw his Poké Ball, and was so happy when it stopped moving.
With his dream accomplished, Ash and his friends continued onward to Olivine City.
