Bonemerang (Japanese: ホネブーメラン Bone Boomerang) is a damage-dealing Ground-type multi-strike move introduced in Generation I. It is one of the signature moves of the Cubone evolutionary line.
Bonemerang inflicts damage, striking twice per use. Although only the first hit can be a critical hit, the second hit will deal the same amount of damage.
Bonemerang will not hit twice if the first hit breaks a Substitute. Bide and Counter will only acknowledge the second hit of this move.
Same as Generation I, but both hits will do damage independently, consequently enabling either of them to be critical.
Same as previous generations, except it will continue attacking after a Substitute is broken.
Unlike previous generations, if the first hit activates the target's Focus Sash, Focus Band, or Sturdy, the second hit will cause the defending Pokémon to faint; however, Focus Band can still activate again to prevent fainting, but each chance is independent of the previous one. Each hit will cause Weak Armor to activate.
