Blue Flare (Japanese: あおいほのお Blue Fire) is a damage-dealing Fire-type move introduced in Generation V. It is one of the signature moves of Reshiram.


Blue Flare inflicts damage and has a 20% chance of burning the target.

643 Reshiram Reshiram's tail glows red-yellow with fire and erupts red-yellow fire from the back of it. It then opens its mouth and forms a light blue orb of fire in front of its mouth. Reshiram lowers its head and it fires a powerful stream of light blue and white fire with multiple light blue and white rings of fire around it at the opponent from the orb.
