Golduck (Japanese: ゴルダック Golduck) is the third Pokémon that Blue had been seen to own in the Pokémon Adventures manga.

History

Red, Green & Blue arc

Golduck first made his appearance in A tale of ninetales after an accident caused Red and Blue to switch their Parties. During his stay on Red's team he, along with the rest of Blue's team experienced Red's different style of Pokémon training and after both trainers returned each others Pokémon he seemed to have become friendlier to Blue (while Red's team had become angrier).

Golduck later appeared during the battle against Team Rocket where it used its psychic powers to find the Pokémon responisble for putting up a barrier around Saffron City which prevented any access to the city and with Pika's help they managed to defeat it.

Yellow arc

Golduck was mainly used as water transportation so that Blue could get around easily. It was later used against Agatha and defeated her with Confusion but was later defeated by her Gengar.

FireRed & LeafGreen arc

Golduck was used in Blue's and Red's training with Kimberly to learn the Ultimate moves, during the battle it did heavy damage to Gyara but was defeated by Lax when it exploited Dig's weakness to Earthquake. It was later used against the Trainer Tower A.I "R" but was knocked back and unable to attack.
