Black is a trainer from Johto and a character from the Golden Boys manga series. He is based on the rival character from Pokémon Gold and Silver.

  • When the Golden Boys manga was released, Black and the Rocket Executive Grey are the only characters not named after a color that shared a name with a main series Pokémon game. However, a fifth generation Black Version was later announced.
