A Biker (Japanese: ぼうそうぞく Wild-riding Gang) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation I games. They are generally depicted as rough men wearing jackets with wild hairstyles riding motorcycles. Furthermore, they are also oftentimes spotted with Roughnecks. Pokémon Red and Blue's sprite is nearly identical to Pokémon Gold and Silver's sprite. Coincidentally, the sprites of Bikers in HeartGold and SoulSilver are similar to the sprites of the Roughnecks in FireRed and LeafGreen. The bikes shown in the HeartGold and SoulSilver sprites have a part that looks very similar to the horn of a male Heracross.

They specialize in Poison and Template:Type2 Pokémon and are sometimes depicted as being affiliated with Team Rocket. In Generation V, in addition to their solo status, they are paired with Roughnecks to form Hooligans. In the Battle Subway, they specialize in Dark- and Template:Type2 Pokémon, or non-legendary Pokémon with high base stats, using the latter exclusively after the first 49 battles.

In the anime

Tyra, a female biker

A bunch of bikers appeared in The Bridge Bike Gang, as the title gang. Notable members include Chopper and Tyra. The gang stopped Ash and his friends from crossing the bridge, but after a battle, Ash told them he was trying to save a sick Pokémon, so the bike gang let them go. Jessie and James were also members of this biker gang before joining Team Rocket.

In the manga

Pokémon Adventures

In The Boss Gets Off, a group of bikers appeared on Three Island. There, they decided on taking all of the berries from the nearby Berry Forest, then they would destroy the town. On the way to the forest, they nearly ran over a young girl. The boss of the gang then threatened the girl. Overhearing this, the legendary Deoxys attacked the bikers. They were all battered and bruised, but the leader got away and begged for help from a man, but he showed no mercy for them.

Be a Master!! Pokémon BW

In PBW01, there is a biker called the Bike Gang King (Jp: 暴走族キング Bousouzoku King) where he laughs at the thought of the trio becoming battle masters and starts to insult them, annoying Monta and Cheren. He thinks they are weak and challenges Monta and Cheren to a Double Battle against just his Braviary. Despite being very strong, he was defeated by Monta's Snivy and Cheren's Tepig's combination of Grass-type and Fire-type.

Pokémon

Bike Gang King's Braviary
Braviary
The Bike Gang King's Braviary was first seen in a battle against Monta's Snivy and Cheren's Tepig. Snivy uses Vine Whip which hardly does any damage, and also one of Tepig's fire attacks. Braviary uses Wing Attack hurting Snivy badly and uses Peck on Tepig sending it flying. It goes in for a Fury Attack which Snivy dodges and the duo perform their combination fainting Braviary.

Braviary's known moves are Wing Attack, Peck and Fury Attack.

Debut PBW01

In Pokémon Pocket Monsters

A group of bikers show up in Get The Flying Machine!! where they are taking over the streets of Celadon City and attack Isamu Akai's Clefairy.
