This card was originally released in the EX Hidden Legends expansion with artwork by Mitsuhiro Arita. A special variant was released as a participation prize for the 2003-2004 Gym Challenge events, featuring the event logo. In Japan, this card was reprinted with different artwork by the same artist as one of the ADV-P Promotional cards and distributed as inserts across several Shogakukan publications in December 2003. These publications comprised of Elementary School 1st Grade magazine, Elementary School 2nd Grade magazine, Elementary School 3rd Grade magazine, and Elementary School 4th Grade magazine.
