Belch (Japanese: ゲップ Belch) is a damage-dealing Poison-type move introduced in Generation VI.

Effect

Belch deals damage and requires the user to eat its held Berry, or that of another through Bug Bite or Pluck, to use the move. If the user has not eaten a Berry and the player attempts to use Belch, the game will prevent the player from using the move. After eating a Berry, the move may be used for the rest of the battle, even after being switched out. Consuming a Berry with Natural Gift or using one from the Bag will not allow Belch to be used.
