In Pokémon UNITE, Belch is {{p|Greedent}}'s first move. It is obtained by reaching level 7 and upgrading {{m|Tackle}} into it instead of {{m|Bullet Seed}}. The user deals damage to enemies in the area of effect and decreases their movement speed for a short time. If the user has any Oran Berries stashed, consume all of them, reducing Belch's cooldown for each Berry consumed.. At level 13, this move's damage is increased.

Works well if the user is pumped up.

Belch (Japanese: ゲップ Belch) is a damage-dealing Poison-type move introduced in Generation VI.

Effect

Belch deals damage. It cannot be selected unless the user has previously eaten a Berry in the current battle. This includes eating another Pokémon's held Berry via Bug Bite, Pluck, or being hit by Fling, unless the Berry can never have an effect when eaten that way. Consuming a Berry through other means (such as Natural Gift, using Fling, or its Trainer giving it a Berry from the Bag) will not enable Belch to be used.

After eating a Berry, that Pokémon may use Belch for the rest of the battle, even if it has been switched out and back in, it has fainted then been revived, or the Berry is restored with Recycle, Harvest, or Pickup.

Pokémon UNITE

In Pokémon UNITE, Belch is Greedent's first move. It is obtained by reaching level 7 and upgrading Tackle into it instead of Bullet Seed. The user deals damage to enemies in the area of effect and decreases their movement speed for a short time. If the user has any Oran Berries stashed, consume all of them, reducing Belch's cooldown for each Berry consumed.. At level 13, this move's damage is increased.
