Be the Best! Pokémon B+W (Japanese: 究めろ！！ ポケモンB・W Kiwamero!! Pokémon BW), is a one-volume manga created by 勝見直人 Naoto Katsumi. It is loosely based on the games Pokémon Black and White and has been described as an "advice comic" by CoroCoro. Chapters have appeared in both the monthly CoroCoro Comics magazine and in CoroCoro Comics Special, which is published every other month.
Chapters of this manga are largely episodic, with main character Monta and other characters owning new Pokémon from chapter to chapter with no explanation on how or when they were captured. Each chapter serves to illustrate a game mechanic or other feature from the series, such as Abilities and Triple Battles.
