Baraz

(Japanese: バルザ Barza) is a character in SS034 and Hoopa and the Clash of Ages. He is Mary's older brother and takes care of Hoopa in Arche Valley.

History

Barza grew up in Arche Valley alongside Mary and his friends Kopou, Bit and Luca. One day, she, Barza and her friends tried to help Grandpa Dam by having Hoopa make rain appear to stop the drought. This didn't work however, as Hoopa misunderstood and let it rain candy from Grandma Mila's store instead. They were punished for this by Grandma Mila, and had to help her make donuts. They later got in even more trouble, when they accidentally broke an ivory statue treasured by Grandma Mila. They tried to glue the statue, but weren't able to make it look like it did before. Grandma Mila ultimately discovered this, but she wasn't mad at them as they had done their best to repair it. Afterwards they all enjoyed the donuts they made together.

In the present day, Barza and Mary were wandering in the desert near Désert City as they were looking for the Prison Bottle. Following a long search, Barza decided to look for it own his own from his Braviary, and told Mary to go on ahead to Désert City with Hoopa. They promised each other they would meet at the Désert Tower.

After discovering the Prison Bottle in the desert, he would meet Ash and his friends in Désert City, where he is seen holding the bottle that is emanating an evil presence.
