Baron Alberto (Japanese: アルベルト男爵 Baron Albert) is a character from The Rise of Darkrai. He constantly insists that all the trouble happening in Alamos Town was caused by Darkrai and was intent on stopping it. He is voiced in Japanese by Kōichi Yamadera and in English by Ax Norman.
He means to have Alice as his wife, but the feeling is not mutual. However this doesn't seem to get in the way of his goal. When Alice says she wants Tonio, Alberto just laughs thinking that her liking towards Tonio is a joke.
During the events in the movie, he was transformed into his Lickilicky due to a combination of Darkrai's Dark Void and Palkia's interference with space. Lickilicky dreamed that it was Alberto and thus Alberto became Lickilicky. Angered by this, Alberto offers a reward to whoever could take down Darkrai. Later on he turns back to his normal form when the effects of Dark Void fade.
Alberto is seen again during the credits of Arceus and the Jewel of Life. He is piloting his own hot air balloon and still attempting to win Alice's heart.
In the manga
Baron Alberto appears in the manga adaption of The Rise of Darkrai. As in the movie, he insists that all the trouble happening in Alamos Town is caused by Darkrai. He works with Team Rocket, thinking that they are working a on a documentary.

| Lickilicky is Baron's main Pokémon. It is first seen during Darkrai's first appearance when it tries to use Hyper Beam, but missing resulting in Darkrai to fire back a Dark Void which ends up hitting Ash. Later Lickilicky get hit by one of Darkrai's Dark Voids causing him to go into a nightmre but do to Palkia's space disruption Baron transforms into Lickilicky. Team Rocket is later seen carrying Lickilicky while it is asleep. After Lickilicky wakes up it tries to help Alice from falling off a bridge but fails leaving Tonio to help her.
Lickilicky's known moves are Wrap, Gyro Ball and Hyper Beam. | ||

Trivia
- Alberto's name is likely a pun on the Japanese name of his Pokémon, causing him to be called "Baron Berobelt" (compare: アルベルト Aruberuto and ベロベルト Beroberuto) several times. He keeps his name in the dub and is called "Baron Lickilicky"; thus eliminating the pun. Adding to the joke, his overall appearance is based on a Licklilicky.
- Alberto is the second human in the anime to be transformed into a Pokémon after Ash.
