A Baron is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Battle Chateau of the Generation VI games Pokémon X and Y. This Trainer class is given to the male player character upon his inscription to the Chateau and, along with the counterpart class Baroness, is the lowest noble rank held by both him and the Chateau's opponent Trainers.
