Bakers wear a white chef's hat over brown plaited hair. They wear a white work shirt with a red apron which is tied in a bow at the front, and matching red gloves. From under the apron one can see the end of a white striped pair of pants, and brown shoes. Bakers are seen with a very warm and welcoming smile on their face. In their hands is a metal tray of what looks like muffins or cookies.

Village Sandwiches are our specialty!

Under the Village Bridge there is a small sandwich van called the Village Bridge Restaurant, which is noted for its specialty Berry sandwiches. This is the location of Baker Chris, who's battle details are shown above. In Black and White, once defeated, Baker Chris will ask the player to temporarily help out, triggering a minigame. The object is to remember the orders of the four customers, repeat them to Chris, and then serve them in the correct order. The player will receive a Lum Berry as a reward. This can be done once per day.

In Black 2 and White 2, the sandwich shop has been moved into one of the buildings; however, the minigame can no longer be played at it.

In the manga

In the Pokémon Adventures manga

Baker Chris makes her first appearance in Unraveling Mysteries, where she meets up with Black and White. She takes them to the recently created Battle Subway after overhearing that Black wanted to know why Marshal had come to Nimbasa City. When White decides to become a Trainer, Chris lends her some Poké Balls so that she can capture a wild Deerling.

Chris later appears at the Pokémon League alongside several other Trainers to help battle Team Plasma.
