Synopsis

Template:Incomplete synopsis After a preview of the previous episode, the Light Stone begins to float, while Ash pleads to stop. A mysterious fog appears, and various Pokémon attacks are shot to Team Plasma, which releases N. It is then revealed to be Anthea and Concordia, coming to save N. While Axew tries to release Iris, N explains that Team Plasma is trying to awake Reshiram and that the tragedy that happened years ago will repeat if successful, and he has to find out why Reshiram has so much anger.

Template:Colress is ordered to control Anthea and Concordia's Gardevior with the machine and succeds. Template:Reshiram awakens from the Light Stone and Axew releases Iris and Cilan but not Professor Juniper or Looker. Ghetsis orders Reshiram to obey him and Colress immediately uses the machine to gain control of Reshiram for Team Plasma. Ghetsis commands Reshiram to use Fusion Flare and it obeys. Colress thinks that Reshiram's full power hasn't been revealed yet and orders it to use Fusion Flare again.

Cilan sends out his Crustle to free Professor Juniper. Team Rocket gets jealous of Team Plasma and decides to steal the control machine. However, Looker finds them and asks them to help him. They then decide to help stop Team Plasma. Colress aimed the control ray a Ash's Pikachu but Meowth distracts him and uses Fury Swipes on some of Team Plasma's Pokémon. Meowth tells Ash that Team Rocket are helping Looker to destroy Colress's device.

Ash asks Pikachu to stay hidden while he distracts Colress but Pikachu chooses to battle anyway so Ash asks Pikachu to use Quick Attack and dodges the aim of Colress's control machine. Iris and her Axew, Meowth, James and his Yamask, and Jessie and her Woobat start to help in the battle as well. Team Rocket recite their motto.

Ghetsis orders Reshiram to stop Ash. Ash asks Pikachu to use Electro Ball on the machine but it had already locked onto Pikachu stopping the attack. Pikachu tries to break free of the machine's control and attacks Reshiram in the process. Reshiram uses Pikachu's electricity to try to escape from Team Plasma's control. Ghetsis asks Colress why the machine isn't working and orders him to maximise the control on Pikachu. This fails and Pikachu and Reshiram use Electro Ball and Fusion Flare, respectively, on the machine. Team Plasma lose control on all wild Pokémon, Pikachu, Reshiram, Gardevoir and Gothorita.

Trivia

Errors

  • In the scene when Reshiram is being controlled and everyone is shocked, Looker's eyes are colored black instead of gray.
  • During one scene, Concordia's white dress is given the same light blue coloration that her vest has.

Dub edits

  • The Sinnoh motto music is added in place of the original Unova motto BGM. This is the first time Team Rocket's motto background music is changed in the dub.
  • In the Japanese version Jessie cause a case of Breaking the fourth wall by saying to Team Plasma "but we're the true main characters!"
