Synopsis

Template:Incomplete synopsis Ash has finally arrived in Sanyou City! Ash, unable to suppress the excitement of his first Gym battle in the Isshu region, finds himself faced by a young man named Dent. Dent, seeing how friendly Iris and Kibago seem to be, informs them that they have perfect compatibility. It seems that he is qualified as a "Pokémon Sommelier" and is able to see the compatibility between Trainers and their Pokémon. While listening to their stories, he guides them towards the Sanyou Gym since they came all that way. And then, the long-awaited Sanyou Gym appears before their eyes! Ash jumps right in in full battle mode, but they can't believe their eyes at the spectacle spread before them inside the building. Inside the Gym was like a restaurant. Pod and Corn sells Psycho Soda and economic lunch to Ash and he feels annoyed and yells that he needs a Gym battle. He nearly leaves but then Dent, Pod and Corn turns off the lights and stand under the spotlight...
