Autotomize (Japanese: ボディパージ Body Purge) is a non-damaging Steel-type move introduced in Generation V.

Effect

Autotomize raises the user's Speed stat by two stages and decreases the user's weight by 220 lbs. This lowers the base power of Heat Crash and Heavy Slam (when used by the user of Autotomize), and Low Kick and Grass Knot (when targeting the user of Autotomize), since these moves are calculated by the weight of the user or target. At the same time, it will increase the damage taken by the user from Heat Crash and Heavy Slam.

Autotomize's weight reduction is not transferred if the Pokémon uses Baton Pass.

Description

Games Description

The user sheds part of its body to make itself lighter and sharply raise its Speed stat.
