Gets the Pokémon pumped up. Helps prevent nervousness, too.

Autotomize (Japanese: ボディパージ Body Purge) is a non-damaging Steel-type move introduced in Generation V.

Effect

Autotomize raises the user's Speed stat by two stages and decreases the user's weight by 220 lbs. (100 kg), but cannot make the Pokémon's weight lower than 0.2 lbs. (0.1 kg).

This weight loss also affects the power of some moves that depend on the user or target's weight. If the user uses Heat Crash or Heavy Slam, these moves will deal less damage, but if Heat Crash or Heavy Slam are used against the user, they will deal more damage. If Low Kick or Grass Knot are used against the user, they will deal less damage.

Autotomize's weight reduction is not transferred if the Pokémon uses Baton Pass.

Description

Games Description

The user sheds part of its body to make itself lighter and sharply raise its Speed stat.
