Astin was Jessie's childhood crush and one of the characters of the day in Crossing Paths. He is voiced by Sean Reyes in English and Makoto Ishii in Japanese. Astin also has a present day look-alike by the name of Austin.
Astin used to go to school with Jessie. The two parted ways a long time ago and Jessie sometimes wonders if she made the right decision in letting him go. Astin left to become a coordinator and asked Jessie to join him, but Jessie was torn and ultimately never saw him again.

- Astin appears to be nameless in the Japanese version of the anime.
