Aqua Ring (Japanese: アクアリング Aqua Ring) is a non-damaging Water-type move introduced in Generation IV.
Effect
Generation IV
The user surrounds itself with a veil of water, allowing it to restore 1/16 of its max HP at the end of every turn. The effect of Aqua Ring can be Baton Passed, and will heal any Pokémon, regardless of its type.
If a Big Root is held by the user, the amount of HP restored at the end of each turn will increase by 30%.
Generation V
Aqua Ring can now be affected by Snatch.
Pokémon Rumble Blast
The Pokémon pauses for about two seconds, then it restores HP by 2s and 3s.

Trivia
- In Arceus and the Jewel of Life, Aqua Ring was shown to deal damage, or at least appeared to be an offensive move, contrary to it being a defensive status move targeting the user in the games.
- As a defensive move, Aqua Ring appears to have extra effects, as shown in An Amazing Aerial Battle!, being able to block Electric-type attacks.
