Matt (Japanese: ウシオ Ushio) is one of the Aqua Admins of Team Aqua.

In the games

Matt is a Team Aqua Admin in the Generation III games.

In Pokémon Ruby he makes only two cameos, at Meteor Falls and Seafloor Cavern, alongside Archie and Shelly. He doesn't have an active role in the storyline and can't be battled.

In Pokémon Sapphire the player confronts him twice; the first time is when he brings the Meteorite stolen from Meteor Falls to Mt. Chimney, and the player must battle him before battling Archie. He later assists the Aqua Leader in stealing the Submarine Explorer 1, and must then be battled at Aqua Hideout.

In Pokémon Emerald he is seen only once, at Aqua Hideout.

The first time Matt is battled is on the crater of Mt. Chimney, after an Aqua Grunt and before Aqua Leader Archie.

		Sharpedo
		Sharpedo was used to distract Sapphire and Flannery. It battled Rono and lost some fangs as a result of Rono's Iron Defense, but they grew back. It was later used to battle Winona's Altaria. Sharpedo's known moves are Crunch and Taunt, and its ability is Rough Skin.

		Azumarill
		Azumarill was used to flood the entire cable car that Flannery and Sapphire were in. Sapphire used Toro to battle Azumarill but did not get a chance to defeat it due to the massive flood. Azumarill's known moves are Hydro Pump and BubbleBeam.
