Viridian City

Ah, the sweet memories of Viridian City! But withold the nostalgia for now - you're here for nothing but your eighth and final Gym badge!

Viridian Gym

The door is finally unlocked. The floors are filled with spinners, so beware of the path you choose or you will be battling a few trainers before you take on the final gym leader of the Kanto Region! Interestingly enough, he looks familiar...

After defeating Giovanni, you will receive the Earth Badge! Give yourself a pat on the back for gaining all 8 Gym badges!

Route 22

Head west of Viridian City, and you'll find yourself on Route 22. But that's not all - you must battle your rival, who is also on his way to the Elite Four.

Route 23

To get to Victory Road, you must get past eight guards, who will only let those who have all eight Gym Badges pass. You can catch some high leveled Pokémon in the patches of grass.

Once you've cleared the route, move on to Victory Road.
