Back in Survival Area

Enter Buck's house. First, talk to Buck's Grandfather. He'll tell you that a legendary Pokemon Heatran will be in rage if Magma Stone is taken, and Mt. Stark will erupt! Next, talk to Buck. He finally knows that this is a serious matter and bolts off to put Magma Stone back in Mt. Stark.

Back to Mt. Stark

Make sure that you talk to Buck and his grandfather, heal your Pokemon and buy at least 40 Dusk Balls before proceeding!

1st Room

2nd Room

Now that you're going through this room on your own, you should pick up all items in this room.

3rd Room

Buck is nowhere to be seen, but a Pokemon is standing in front of you. That is the legendary Pokemon Heatran. Heatran looks angry. It seems that everything's too late......

Wait, there is still 1 way to solve this. Guess what? You'll need to catch another legendary Pokemon!

Catching Heatran

Make sure that you heal your Pokemon and save your game before proceeding!

When you're ready, talk to Heatran, and a battle will start.

Heatran is a Fire/Steel-type Pokemon, at Lv.70. Template:Type2 moves deal significant damage, so be careful if you're unleashing something like Earthquake. It has its signature move Magma Storm.

Start off with moves that causes sleep or paralysis (Don't bother with freeze -- it will instantly defrost with Fire-type moves. It is also immune to burn and poison). Follow up with Template:Type2 or Template:Type2 moves. Then, keep on damaging it until its HP bar is in red. After that, start throwing Dusk Balls (as you're in a cave, Dusk Balls work best) until you successfully catch it.

Route 228

Make sure that you heal your Pokemon before proceeding! You'll need to bring Pokemon with Rock Smash.

This is a desert route. Similar to Route 111 in Hoenn Region, a sandstorm will be raging, reducing the visibility and affecting battles. Don't worry, though-- you can proceed without Go-Goggles. Instead, have your Bicycle ready again. Some places in this route can only be accessed by bicycle.
