Anthony (Japanese: トンペイ Tonpei) was a Pokémon Coordinator who entered the Hoenn Grand Festival. His Japanese voice actor is Daisuke Sakaguchi and his English voice actor is Anthony Salerno.

He appeared in Deceit and Assist and Rhapsody in Drew. Ash and his friends met him while he was on the beach looking for his ribbons. They had been stolen by Team Rocket, and he was worried that he wouldn't be able to enter the Grand Festival. With the help of Officer Jenny, Ash and Anthony tracked down Team Rocket and retrieved his ribbons just in time for the competition.

Anthony was able to get through the second appeal stage, but he lost in his second double battle against May. He promised that, despite the loss, he would train harder to become a top Coordinator.
