Ally Switch (Japanese: サイドチェンジ Side Change) is a non-damaging Psychic-type move introduced in Generation V. It was TM51 in Generation V.
Effect
Ally Switch causes the user to switch places with the ally opposite to itself, and is an increased priority move. It will fail if the user is in the middle of the field in a Triple Battle, if the user has no ally opposite it, or if used in a Single Battle, Multi Battle, or Horde Encounter.
If a Pokémon targeted an ally with a move, but as a result of Ally Switch the Pokémon is now targeting itself when it would execute the move, the move will fail (even if the move is Acupressure).
Ally Switch does not trigger Pursuit.
