Alice Telesu (Japanese: アリス Alice) is a character of the day in the Pokémon anime. Her English voice actress is Amy Birnbaum and Akiko Kimura in Japanese.
She appeared in A Crowning Achievement. Alice was traveling with her archaeologist father, who was studying hieroglyphics near a lake full of Slowpoke that suffered a drought after an earthquake. According to the hieroglyphics, a Slowpoke needed to evolve into a Slowking to save the colony, but the Shellder in the lake kept on latching on to the Slowpoke and causing them to evolve into Slowbro. Alice's Slowpoke, Arthur, was able to make it, and was intelligent enough to lead the Slowpoke and Slowbro into an underground cave where water was plentiful.
Alice was saddened to see Arthur, who she had known since it was a baby, go. Nevertheless, she knew that it was for the best that it leave.

The group watch as another Slowpoke evolves into a Slowbro after trying to get the King's Rock, now it is Arthur's turn. Arthur jumps across a few rocks before the Shellder start charging in. Arthur simply just dodges the Shellder with surprising speed for a Slowpoke. But after that, Arthur slips into the water! But luckily it is able to use its speed and it grabs the King's Rock just as a Shellder bites onto it and it evolves into a Slowking! Suddenly Team Rocket appears and fire a net which is deflected by Arthur's Confusion and is sent blasting off again. Arthur turns towards the waterfall and soon splits it apart with another psychic move. An opening forms up on the other side. Arthur starts to lead the party into the cave. On the other side is a underwater lake and forest. The Slowpoke and Slowbro can finally relax here. Alice decides to release Slowking here so it can be with its colony. It made another brief appearance in Address Unown! where it was part of an Unown's dimension. | ||
