Alexa in the anime

Alexa first appeared in BW134 of the anime alongside a Gogoat and Helioptile.

When Helioptile bumped into Ash and his friends on Minori Island, Ash used his Pikachu to battle it until Alexa arrived with Gogoat and mentioned that the Helioptile is her's. Since both of Alexa's Pokémon were unnative to the region at the time, Ash's Pokédex could not recognize them. Alexa then introduced herself and mentioned that she came all the way from the Kalos region to write an article about the Harvest Festival which was the tradition of Minori Island. While there, she learned about a Pokémon Sumo tournament that was going to take place there. When Ash was bumped by Yukiya who became Ash's new rival for the tournament, Alexa comforted him. At the end of the tournament, when Ash had won, Alexa had filmed the tournament, including Ash giving Yukiya an apple after he lost. After the tournament was officially finished, Alexa decided to travel with the group.

She will also appear in BW135, BW136, and with Noivern in BW137.

Alexa's Helioptile
Helioptile
Helioptile is one of Alexa's Pokémon.

Helioptile was first seen jumping out of a flower field, as it was lost and met Ash and his friends. As it was about to attack Pikachu since Ash battled it, Alexa arrived in the nick of time and found Helioptile. She explained that Helioptile is very shy and often hides behind Alexa when it encounters something new. Later, Helioptile acted as a charger when Alexa needed to charge her recording equipment after the battery was low.

Helioptile's only known move is Parabolic Charge.

Debut BW134
Alexa's Gogoat
Gogoat
Gogoat is another one of Alexa's Pokémon. Due to its size, Alexa uses it as a mode of transportation.

Gogoat first appeared when it caught up with Alexa after she found Helioptile. During her travels in the Harvest Festival on Minori Island, Gogoat helped Alexa find where she had placed the magazine showing examples of her work. It later also helped her find her recording equipment in order for it to get charged.

Gogoat's only known move is Vine Whip.
