Love at First Flight (Japanese: バルビートとイルミーゼ！愛のダンス! Barubeat and Illumise! Dance of Love! ) is episode 42 of the Advanced Generation series, and the 316th episode of the Pokémon anime. It was first broadcast in Japan on September 11, 2003 and in the United States on October 16, 2004.

  Ash's 2nd time cross-dressing.
  This episode marks the second time that Ash has crossdressed. He has crossdressed before in Pokémon Scent-sation, and again in the future in Tanks for the Memories!. It is interesting to note that Brock falls madly in love with Ash when he is dressed as Juliet, which hasn't happened before. This is probably because in the first time, he was dressed as a young girl which Brock wouldn't fall in love with, and the time after this one, Brock didn't even see him crossdressing.
• In this episode, Team Rocket uses a variation of their motto.

• In Pokémon Trainer's Choice, there are two correct answers, Roselia and Plusle, Plusle was the answer.
