Amanita was introduced in [[Generation V]] as the [[Pokémon Storage System]] creator living in [[Striaton City]] in the [[Unova]] region. It was she who developed Unova's storage system based on the previous designs of [[Bill]], [[Lanette]] and [[Bebe]].

In {{2v2|Black|White}}, the {{player}} first meets her in Striaton City where she gives the player a Box which can be accessed in the player's [[PC]]. She also tells the player about a new feature called the Battle Box which can be used to store the {{player}}'s {{OBP|Pokémon|species}} for battle.

She has the player start out with 8 Boxes capable of holding 240 Pokémon. When all 8 Boxes have at least one Pokémon in them, the storage capacity will be increased to 16 Boxes, holding 480 Pokémon. When all 16 of those Boxes have at least one Pokémon in them, the capacity will be increased again to a maximum of 24 Boxes, holding 720 Pokémon.

In {{2v2|Black|White|2}}, Amanita is found in [[Castelia City]], along with [[Fennel]]. They are located on the third floor inside the building across the street from the [[Castelia Gym|Gym]]. After the player has entered the [[Hall of Fame]], Amanita will give the player an {{p|Eevee}} she received from a friend in the [[Kanto]] region. This Eevee has its {{DL|Ability|Hidden Ability}} and is always male.

Ralts has a white body. Its legs give it the appearance of wearing a dress. Ralts has a green "helmet" that has a red horn on the front and a smaller one on the back. A Ralts's eyes are normally covered by its "helmet", but a view from the proper angle will reveal a pair of melancholy eyes that look similar to the ones its evolved forms have. Despite the fact that Ralts and its evolutions resemble humans, they somehow bear a closer relationship to {{type|Ghost}} Pokémon than with other humanoid Pokémon such as {{p|Mime Jr.}}

* Ralts's number in the [[List of Pokémon by Sinnoh Pokédex number|Sinnoh Pokédex]] ({{v2|Platinum}} only) and the [[List of Pokémon by Almia Browser number|Almia Browser]] are the same: 157.
* Ralts's evolution family is one of only three evolution families to have a branch evolution in the second evolutionary event, and the only one whose base level was not introduced in [[Generation I]].
* Ralts's {{g|Trozei!}} sprite is the only one where its eyes are visible. In Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, one can see them if one were to view Ralts from below in the Trainer memo; however, it is not a sprite.
*Although being able to learn {{m|Will-O-Wisp}} by breeding, Ralts was not compatible with the [[TM]] that teaches the same move in [[Generation IV]]. Ralts's appearance seems to be based slightly on that of a young child, following the theory that young children can sense feelings easier and more thoroughly than adults. Its red "horns" also resemble the tips of a heart shape.

It may also involve ''relate'', referring to the way Ralts will only relate to kind Trainers. Liza made her debut appearance in ''[[EP134|Charizard's Burning Ambitions]]''. She knew of a {{pkmn|Trainer}}'s win at the Violet City Gym with a Charizard, and immediately deduced that Trainer was Ash. She invited them to come with her into the valley, encouraging Ash to ride his {{AP|Charizard}} as transport, somewhat questioning why—as a Charizard Trainer—he's never {{m|Fly|flown}} upon his. She also questions the strength of Ash's Charizard, indicating only 'weak' Charizard display their power through Charizard's typical {{m|Flamethrower|stream of fire}}, and that it needs some serious training.

Charizard wanted to train at the valley seeing the other powerful {{p|Charizard}} there but Liza refused after it lost to her Charizard, [[Charla]]. But seeing its determination to train there, she agreed.

Liza made a brief cameo appearance in ''[[M03|Spell of the Unown]]'' with Charla and other Charizard from the Charicific Valley.

Liza later appeared in ''[[EP253|Great Bowls of Fire!]]'' bringing [[Ash's Charizard]] with her. It was revealed that she was good friends with [[Clair]] since they were young children. Liza often takes the Charizard from the Charicific Valley to [[Blackthorn City]] in order to {{pkmn|training|train}} them.

Ash would also call Liza sometimes whenever he needed Charizard sent over.

Liza appeared in a flashback in [[BW116]].
