Lucario is Korrina's first and only known Pokémon. They have been together ever since Korrina was a child and Lucario was a {{p|Riolu}}. According to Korrina, they have grown so close together that she considers the two of them soul mates.

Lucario debuted alongside its Trainer in ''[[XY030|Mega Revelations!]]''. It was first used to battle {{Ash}}'s {{AP|Pikachu}} as a part of a challenge to get 100 straight victories in a row. Although Pikachu fought hard, Lucario defeated it without taking a single hit, giving Korrina and Lucario their 99th victory. After the battle ended, Lucario and Korrina had lunch with Ash and {{Ashfr}}. During the lunch, Korrina revealed her history with [[Mega Evolution]] as the Gym Leader of the [[Shalour Gym]]. They were interrupted by {{TRT}}, who trapped Lucario and Pikachu in a box whilst disguised as Mega Evolution appraisers and took them away in their {{DL|Team Rocket's mechas|Team Rocket's Meowth balloon|balloon}}. Pikachu and Lucario repeatedly attempted to break out of the box with their attacks, but only ended up exhausting themselves. Using her bond with Lucario, Korrina lead Ash and his friends to where Lucario and Pikachu were being taken to. They arrived just as Lucario and Pikachu freed themselves from the box with a combination of {{m|Electro Ball}} and {{m|Power-Up Punch}}.

Team Rocket refused to back down and they challenged Ash and Korrina to a battle. Together, Lucario and Pikachu defeated Team Rocket and sent them blasting off, giving Korrina and Lucario their 100th successive victory. Ash and his friends then decided to travel with Korrina and Lucario to [[Geosenge Town]] so that they could see Lucario's Mega-Evolved state once she obtained a {{DL|Mega Stone|Lucarionite}}.

In ''[[XY031|The Cave of Trials!]]'', Ash, his friends, and Korrina arrived in Geosenge Town to obtain the Lucarionite. They traveled to a cave where the stone was rumored to be held, only to be attacked by a {{p|Blaziken}} guarding the stone. Lucario battled Blaziken in order to obtain the Lucarionite, but it proved to be no match at first due to Blaziken's strength and type advantage. After some encouragement from Ash, Korrina and Lucario regained their resolve, allowing them to immobilize Blaziken. Before the final blow could be struck, [[Gurkinn]] appeared, revealing himself to be Blaziken's Trainer, and admitted defeat. Gurkinn explained that he set the battle up as a final trial for Korrina and Lucario and told them that they had succeeded in passing it. Later, with the Lucarionite in hand, Korrina had Lucario Mega Evolve for the first time.

In ''[[XY032|The Aura Storm!]]'', after becoming Mega Lucario, Korrina and Ash decided to have another battle to test out Lucario's new strength. Due to a lack of control over its transformation, Mega Lucario eventually lost control of its new power and attacked Pikachu in a violent frenzy. Ash stepped in to protect Pikachu from further harm, but Mega Lucario continued attacking, only to be stopped by Gurkinn's Lucario. Mega Lucario eventually fainted from overexertion and was taken to the nearby [[Pokémon Center]] to get healed. Once healed, Korrina outfitted Lucario with an armband created by [[McGinty]] with the Lucarionite embedded inside.

Soon after, Korrina and Gurkinn faced each other in a battle with their Mega Lucario. Gurkinn's Mega Lucario proved to be much more skilled and easily blocked Korrina's Mega Lucario's attacks with its control over Aura. Korrina's Mega Lucario eventually went berserk again, but it was still easily defeated by Gurkinn's Mega Lucario and returns to normal. Gurkinn berated Korrina and Lucario for their lack of control and ordered them to travel to [[Pomace Mountain]] in order to receive special training from a Mega Evolution specialist living there. Korrina obeyed and set off to Pomace Mountain along with Ash and his friends.

In ''[[XY033|Calling from Beyond the Aura!]]'', the group traveled to a cave, but a Team Rocket plan caused them to get separated from each other. Lucario was stuck with Ash, {{an|Serena}}, {{an|Bonnie}}, and {{TP|Clemont|Dedenne}} while Korrina was stuck with {{an|Clemont}} and {{AP|Pikachu}}. After a day of searching for each other, Lucario's group eventually found Korrina, Clemont, and Pikachu under the attack of Team Rocket. Due to the machines Team Rocket used to power up their Pokémon, Lucario and the others suggested Korrina use Mega Evolution to make Lucario strong enough to win. Although reluctant due to the risk of Lucario going out of control again, Korrina Mega Evolved Lucario, giving it the power to easily take down Team Rocket's Pokémon. Mega Lucario began to lose control of its Mega Evolution again, causing it to go on a rampage on Ash's side. The sound of Korrina's voice allowed Mega Lucario to control its Mega-Evolved state, but once Mega Lucario sent Team Rocket blasting off, it immediately went out of control again. Mega Lucario then turned back to normal as it could no longer handle the strain of Mega Evolution again.

In ''[[XY034|The Bonds of Mega Evolution!]]'', the group arrived at Pomace Mountain. There, they met [[Mabel]], the Mega Evolution specialist that Gurkinn had told them about earlier. To test their prowess, Mabel and her Mega {{p|Mawile}} faced Korrina and Mega Lucario in battle. Mabel's Mega Mawile proved to be much stronger and easily dodged all of Mega Lucario's attacks. When Mega Lucario went berserk once more, Mabel had Mega Mawile knock Mega Lucario out to revert it to its normal form. Devastated, Korrina and Lucario requested special training from Mabel, but were told to do flower arranging instead. After several more days of flower arranging, Korrina began to get tired of it and wondered when their training would finally start. Mabel approached the two and explained that the flower arranging was actually the training all along, as it was used to improve Korrina and Lucario's bond with each other.

The talk was interrupted by an attack by Team Rocket, who had captured Pikachu and Mawile. Korrina Mega Evolved Lucario, but Team Rocket used strategy to prevent it from getting any moves in. Mega Lucario eventually lost control once again but was still unable to take down Team Rocket. Using the advice Mabel gave her, Korrina stepped in and reminded Mega Lucario about what their training was for. This allowed Lucario to finally gain control of its Mega Evolution. Mega Lucario freed Pikachu and Mawile from their cages and teamed up with them to defeat Team Rocket. Lucario was revealed to have learned {{m|Aura Sphere}} as well and used its new move to send Team Rocket blasting off. The next day, Korrina and Lucario said their goodbyes to Ash and his friends and looked forward to their upcoming Gym challenge later.

It also was seen in a flashback in ''[[XY039|Summer of Discovery!]]''.

Lucario reappeared in [[XY043]] when Ash and his friends arrived in [[Shalour City]]. It was later used to battle Team Rocket, who were trying to steal a scroll they believed to contain the secret to Mega Evolution from the [[Tower of Mastery]]. In [[XY044|the next episode]], Lucario was the final Pokémon used by Korrina during her Gym battle with Ash. As Ash had already defeated her {{p|Mienfoo}} and {{p|Machoke}} without losing any of his own Pokémon, Korrina immediately Mega Evolved her Lucario, who then proceeded to take out [[Ash's Fletchinder]] and {{AP|Hawlucha}} with little trouble. Ash then chose to use Pikachu, who was ready to battle Mega Lucario once again. After a fierce battle, in which both sides gave everything they had, Pikachu was eventually able to defeat the Aura Pokémon with a {{m|Thunderbolt}}, winning the battle for Ash and earning him the {{badge|Rumble}}.

==Personality and characteristics==
Due to Lucario spending so much time with Korrina since it was a Riolu, their bond is very close and strong. During battle, Lucario was shown to be very fast and strong, being able to defeat Ash's Pikachu with hardly any trouble. Prior to ''[[XY034|The Bonds of Mega Evolution!]]'', when Lucario would Mega Evolve, it had trouble controlling it and went berserk until Mabel trained Korrina to handle Lucario's Mega Evolution. It has shown to be quite friendly to others.

Korrina initially has two Lucario. One of them approaches the player on {{rt|5|Kalos}} after he takes a liking to the {{player}}'s Aura. Korrina uses both of them to battle the player at [[Geosenge Town]]. Both of them later appear on top of the [[Tower of Mastery]] alongside their Trainer, with the Lucario that took a liking to the player temporarily joins their team for the battle. After being defeated, Korrina gives this Lucario to the player. Korrina's other Lucario is later used on her Battle Chateau team after the player defeats the [[Elite Four]].

Lucario is Korrina's only known Pokémon. She has had it ever since it was a Riolu, where it trained with Korrina and even helped obtain the Lucarionite that would be used to Mega Evolve it once it evolved.

Lucario first debuts in [[PAXY06]], where Korrina sends it out to help {{adv|X}} retrieve his stolen {{DL|Mega Stone|Kangaskhanite}} from [[Celosia]]. Upon revealing herself, Korrina has Lucario Mega Evolve into Mega Lucario and sends it off to attack Celosia's {{p|Aegislash}}. With its [[Aura]], Lucario prevented Celosia's Aegislash from controlling X and his friends' minds. Lucario distracts Aegislash long enough for the Kangaskhanite to be retrieved, which allows X to Mega Evolve [[Garu and Kogaru|Kogaru]] into Mega {{p|Kangaskhan}}. Together with Garu and Kogaru, Lucario defeats Aegislash, which forces Celosia to escape as she knows she cannot defeat two Mega-Evolved Pokémon.

At the Tower of Mastery, Lucario Mega Evolves to battle a {{p|Trevenant}} that began attacking the place. Korrina quickly realizes that the Trevenant is not wild, but its Trainer is not in the area, meaning that the Trevenant was only a distraction. The Trainer is revealed to be [[Emma|Essentia]], who kept Korrina away so that she could interrogate Gurkinn about the secrets of Mega Evolution. Once Korrina goes down to help her grandfather, Lucario teams up with Gurkinn's Mega {{p|Heracross}} to defeat Essentia. Essentia attempts to take the tower by covering it in Trevenant's roots, but Gurkinn decides to destroy the tower to make sure the secrets of Mega Evolution do not fall into the hands of Team Flare. Korrina and Gurkin have Lucario and Heracross activate the Tower of Mastery's self destruction switch by destroying the Mega Lucario statue, causing the tower to collapse in on itself.

Reshiram is the [[version mascot]] of [[Pokémon Black and White Versions|Pokémon Black]], appearing on the boxart.

Along with {{p|Zekrom}} and {{p|Kyurem}}, it is a member of the [[Tao trio]], which exists in the legends of the [[Unova]] region.

{{p|Kyurem}} will become [[Form differences#Kyurem|White Kyurem]] upon using the {{key|V|DNA Splicers}} to fuse with Reshiram.

==Biology==
===Physiology===
Reshiram is a white-colored, bipedal Pokémon of seemingly draconian and mammalian basis, with some of the avian features of feathers. Reshiram's snout is mammalian in appearance, most resembling something vulpine or even canine, or possibly even a goat. Streaming out from the upper side of the snout and outward from the head is a long, voluminous wispy mane, the top of which forms a spike or small head-crest of some sort. Reshiram's face is fringed with spiky features, with one small, pointed extension of it below the chin.

Reshiram's neck is long and slender, with a collar-esque protrusion of fur or feathers seeming held in place by two somewhat glass-like neck-bands, with similar bands present on the "wrists" of Reshiram's forelimbs. Reshiram's forelimbs are expansive, wing-like appendages or some unusual sort of wings themselves; the beginning portions of the limbs are slender and generally conventionally arm-like, but flare out into a more wing-like, feathered section farther on the limb, sporting four claws on the leading edge. On Reshiram's chest is a feathered feature, with the lower portion protruding outward to a point. Long feathers spread out from Reshiram's thighs, its feet with large claws—three in front, and the one in the back positioned at an angle somewhat like high heels. Reshiram's tail is a thick mass of a center-most plume and ribbon-like secondary extensions, surrounded by two large bands. This tail is based on an electric {{wp|turbine}}.

Reshiram has a jet engine-like tail which it uses to accelerate itself when flying in high speeds. It is able to send flames from its tail into the air to incinerate everything around it. It can move the atmosphere and change the world's weather by flaring its tail. Reshiram is the only Pokémon that can learn {{m|Fusion Flare}} and {{m|Blue Flare}}, though {{p|Victini}} can have both of them from several events, and Kyurem can learn the former after merging with Reshiram. Also, If Reshiram uses Fusion Flare immediately after being hit by Fusion Bolt, its tail turbine activates and power is doubled.

He saw Reshiram appearing before him, and kept looking at it as it flew away. It was later seen in another flashback in ''[[BW118|Secrets From Out of the Fog!]]'', rebelling against [[Ghetsis]] and [[Team Plasma]] by burning down N's Castle during a ceremony involving N, Ghetsis and the [[Seven Sages]].

It was seen in fantasies and as a statue in [[BW120]]. In [[BW122]], Ghetsis summoned it using the Light Stone and [[Colress]] used his machine to take control of it. Ghetsis used it to attack {{Ash}}, {{an|N}} and the others when they tried to resist him, but it was ultimately freed once [[Ash's Pikachu]] destroyed Colress's machine. N was then able to convince it that not all humans were evil, and it departed peacefully.

Reshiram and its counterpart {{p|Zekrom}} are based on the concept of {{wp|yin and yang}} in {{wp|Taoism}}, directly referenced by Reshiram's Japanese species: the White Yang Pokémon. According to [[Ken Sugimori]], Reshiram has a light, airy, ladylike design to contrast to Zekrom's tough and manly look (despite this, it speaks with a distinctly male voice in [[M14|both versions of the 14th movie]]). Its tail, the center point of its design, is based on an electric {{wp|turbine}}.<ref>[http://pokemonblackandwhite.net/?p=1641 Interview with Ken Sugimori and development team]</ref> Appearance wise, it resembles a mix of animals, including a bird, a {{wp|canid}} such as a fox or a wolf, a {{wp|pterosaur}}, and a {{wp|Wyvern}}. The crest on its head and its feathers resemble smoke trails as well as white fire, which can burn up to temperatures of 1,500 °C (2,730 °F). The mythology about how Zekrom and Reshiram came about, regarding two brothers infighting, also bears some similarities to {{wp|Romulus and Remus}} or {{wp|Cain and Abel}}. There is also some resemblance to the Zoroastrian belief of two equally powerful deities, one representing light and truth and the other representing lies and darkness. A moment later, a man stops by and introduces himself as Professor Juniper! [[Cedric Juniper]], father to the other [[Professor Juniper]]. He then upgrades your Pokédex, enabling [[National Pokédex|National Dex]] mode. This switches the numbering system from the Unova Dex listing to the international listing, though you are free to switch it back. Step outside to meet [[Hugh]] and his little sister, who thank you for helping return her former {{p|Purrloin}}. Half of his team is comprised of {{type|Bug}} Pokémon. {{t|Fire}} attacks will roast his {{p|Accelgor}} and {{p|Escavalier}}, and his {{p|Bouffalant}} takes double the damage from {{t|Fighting}} moves. {{t|Flying}}- and {{type|Psychic}} attacks work well against his {{p|Conkeldurr}}, while his {{p|Braviary}} is vulnerable to {{t|Electric}}- and {{type|Ice}} moves. The star of the show, {{p|Volcarona}}, takes massive damage from {{type|Rock}} attacks, though Flying- and {{type|Water}} moves are also effective. Don't hesitate to use healing items, as his attacks provide a lot of type coverage.

The [[Cave of Being]] is a small cave that can be reached by climbing the waterfall on the south side of {{rt|20|Unova}}. It is said that the deepest part of the cave connects to the distant [[Sinnoh]] region. [[Professor Juniper]] is inside investigating the area. Suddenly, a mysterious presence can be felt, and the three [[lake guardians]] — {{p|Uxie}}, {{p|Mesprit}}, and {{p|Azelf}} — appear. They float here for a moment before wandering off. To find them, you must step on a certain spot when they are nearby so that they reveal themselves.

Mesprit can be found on the [[Celestial Tower]]'s rooftop. Stand at the foot of the bell platform to detect its presence.

Azelf can be found on {{rt|23|Unova}}. Travel to the forest on the west side, and stand on the platform near the {{m|Strength}} puzzle to detect its presence.

Uxie can be found in [[Nacrene City]] in the southeast. Stand outside the Nacrene Museum to detect its presence.

It lies directly north of [[Chargestone Cave]], and is geographically positioned between three mountain ranges. North of Mistralton City is {{rt|7|Unova}} and the [[Celestial Tower]], a prominent place of burial and mourning for deceased Pokémon in Unova. The city is famous for its airport which imports and exports cargo around the Unova region and beyond. The city is home to [[Skyla]], a pilot who is also the Mistralton City [[Gym Leader]].

As with most of the western side of Unova, Mistralton City has a cool climate and is subject to {{weather|rain}} during the [[seasons|spring]], summer, and autumn. Sometimes during winter, it {{weather|snow}}s and {{weather|hail}}s.

===Mistralton Cargo Service===
The Mistralton Cargo Service handles and maintains packages that are sent or received by the cargo planes. Their slogan is "Quick and Safe!" which is reinforced by their staff who offer quick and efficient cargo delivery. The Cargo Service building is also a control tower which allows planes to fly safely in the sky where there are no roads. The Cargo Service building seems to be more than just a cargo delivery system, as many members of the community gather on the ground floor to convene and share items.

A singing woman inside standing near the TV will exchange 10 [[Sweet Heart]]s for a {{DL|Exchangable item|Heart Scale}}. There is also a woman who welcomes the player into the city and gives away a [[Sharp Beak]] as a commemoration gift. Other residence will offer advice and information about planes and {{m|fly}}ing.

In {{2v2|Black|White|2}}, after acquiring 6 [[Badge]]s and meeting [[Professor Juniper]] in [[Celestial Tower]], it is possible to fly to [[Lentimas Town]] after speaking to Skyla.

===Runway===
Mistralton City is dominated by a large runway as a result of the transportation services to the region. The concrete, skid-marked landing strip alone takes up almost two-thirds of the area, making it an extrusive part of the city, one that many residents pride themselves upon. The runway holds two small cargo planes — one positioned ready for takeoff, while the other parked in a small storage area to the side of the main runway.
Airplanes only fly once per day to deliver cargo around the region; any other time after that the runway is free for public access. Fresh vegetables are grown around the boundaries of the runway so they can be picked and sent to faraway [[regions]] quickly. The method of which these vegetables are grown varies depending on the game being played; players of Pokémon Black find that the vegetables are grown within greenhouses in a systematic fashion, while players of Pokémon White find that the vegetables are grown naturally in vegetable patches which are a subject to benefiting from the changing weather.

There are many hidden items which can be found around the growing vegetables, including a [[Parlyz Heal]], a [[Max Ether]], a [[Elixir]], and a [[Repel]]. A [[Youngster]] also hides {{TM|40|Aerial Ace}} which can be found after the player defeats Skyla and agrees to find his treasure. {{TM|58|Sky Drop}} can also be found located under the wing of the parked cargo plane on the eastern side of the runway.

===Move Family's House===
The Move Family reside in a house just east of the [[Pokémon Center]], which contains both the [[Move relearner#Generation V|reminder girl]] and the [[Move Deleter]] as members of the family. The reminder girl allows any Pokémon to relearn any move that they were able to learn from a previous level-up in exchange for a [[Heart Scale]]. One limitation is the reminder girl is restricted to the particular moveset associated with the Pokémon's species. Many Pokémon, especially those that evolve by way of evolutionary stone, have access to moves that their evolutions do not, such as with Eevee, who can learn Take Down by level though none of its evolutions can.

The Move Deleter opposite the reminder girl will make a Pokémon forget a move it knows. This is the only way for a Pokémon to forget [[HM]] moves such as {{m|Cut}} or {{m|Fly}}. In order to delete an HM move, one must first have another Pokémon with that same move in order for it to be deleted. This is done so that a player will not get stuck in an area where an HM move is required to continue. In addition, a Pokémon's move will not be forgotten if it is the only move it knows.

===Hidden Power===
A man next to the [[Pokémon Center Nurse]] will tell the player the type of their Pokémon's {{m|Hidden Power}}. Hidden Power is a {{type|Normal}} move when the type is displayed, such as in battle and on status screens. However, the actual type of Hidden Power is determined by the Pokémon's [[individual values]], and through calculation, can be set as one of the sixteen other natural types and with a power between 30 and 70. Using this method to obtain a Pokémon's Hidden Power is much quicker and easier.

The Mistralton Gym is the official [[Gym]] of Mistralton City. The Gym is a converted cargo plane hanger which is located north of the runway. It is based on {{type|Flying}} Pokémon. The Gym Leader is Skyla. Mistralton Gym is designed like a military hangar. The inside is full of cannons which the player must use to make their way to Skyla. Most of these cannons help the player to progress to Skyla; however, some will blast the player back to a Trainer. Trainers who defeat her receive the {{Badge|Jet}}, as well as {{TM|62|Acrobatics}} as a reward.

==Demographics==
Mistralton City has a population of {{tt|37|38 in B2W2 after defeating School Girl Alberta at the Celestial Tower}} making it a fairly small city. This makes it the second smallest city in the Unova region, just above [[Icirrus City]] with 34 residences. Most of the population work or are involved in maintaining the Mistralton Cargo Service which is the most significant aspect of the town.

Memory Link is a new feature that allows players to sync both the original {{2v2|Black|White}} with {{2v2|Black|White|2}} together via [[Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection]] or DS Wireless Communications. If the player has achieved certain goals in the original Black and White, such as a certificate for the [[Pokédex]] and trophies from the [[Battle Subway]], then they can be transferred to the player's room in Black 2 and White 2 and can be observed from there.

===Musical Props===
The player may receive the [[Prop|props]] for the [[Pokémon Musical]] that were previously owned by [[Hilbert|the]] [[Hilda|player]]. The owner will claim that they have dropped it accidentally and will give the player the props if they had not already received a [[List of key items in Generation V#Prop_Case|Prop Case]]. However the case won't be obtainable if the player already received a new one in Black 2 and White 2.

===Loblolly's Studio===
Items can be brought over to the player's [[Pokémon Dream World|Dream World]] home from the player's Dream World home from Black and White if the player assists Loblolly picking items for creation which end up in the Dream World in Black and White.

===N's Pokémon===

The player may {{p|Zorua|obtain}} and capture some of [[N|N's]] Pokémon that he previously had during his adventure in the original Black and White, excluding the Pokémon that N had used during the final battle against [[Hilbert|the]] [[Hilda|player]] in Black and White. To find N's Pokémon, the player must defeat N and [[Ghetsis]] in Black and White.

===Battles===
When Memory Link is used, the player can battle [[Bianca]] and [[Cheren]], who have their old [[Party|team]] from the original Black and White, depending on who the [[starter Pokémon]] was in Black and White. The player must have defeated [[N]] and [[Ghetsis]] in Black and White in order to have these one time battles.

Latios has mostly the same body shape as Latias, but with a larger build. His lower body is blue instead of red and features the same triangle-shaped marking that Latias has, only blue. The rest of Latios's body is gray instead of white. Latios has flatter ears and narrower eyes than Latias. The gray spot in the middle of Latios's blue face is shaped like a tear-drop. Latios also has ridge-shaped features on his rear, which may either be rudimentary feet or tails or some sort, which differs in shape to Latias's. Like Latias, Latios's forelimbs can be tucked into his body in order to reduce air-resistance when in flight.

Latios are the male of the species, with the female being {{p|Latias}}. Latios are much larger than Latias. Latios' physical characteristics are mainly blue while Latias are mainly red.

====Special abilities====
Latios comes with the ability {{a|Levitate}}, which causes {{type2|Ground}} moves to miss. Latios is able to fold in his arms and fly at the speed of a jet. He can make foes see images he has seen or what he imagines in his head. He can understand human speech. Even if he is hiding, Latios can detect the locations and emotions of others using telepathy. Like his sister Latias, Latios can enfold his body with a glass-like down to refract light which can render him invisible or alter his appearance (an exclusive type of Transformation).

In the movie ''[[M05|Pokémon Heroes]]'' and manga ''[[Pokémon Adventures]]'' Latias and Latios also had the ability "Sight Sharing" which allowed Latias and people around her to see exactly what Latios was seeing. [[Oakley]] also mentioned that he can shape-shift like Latias, although he was never seen doing so during the course of the movie, apart from the deleted storybook scene that was present only in the Japanese version of the movie. Latios was seen disguised as a boy and Latias as a girl.

Latios has mostly the same body shape as Latias, but with a larger build. His lower body is blue instead of red and features the same triangle-shaped marking that Latias has, only blue. The rest of Latios's body is gray instead of white. Latios has flatter ears and narrower eyes than Latias. The gray spot in the middle of Latios's blue face is shaped like a tear-drop. Latios also has ridge-shaped features on his rear, which may either be rudimentary feet or tails or some sort, which differs in shape to Latias's. Like Latias, Latios's forelimbs can be tucked into his body in order to reduce air-resistance when in flight.

Latios are the male of the species, with the female being {{p|Latias}}. Latios are much larger than Latias. Latios' physical characteristics are mainly blue while Latias are mainly red.

====Special abilities====
Latios comes with the ability {{a|Levitate}}, which causes {{type2|Ground}} moves to miss. Latios is able to fold in his arms and fly at the speed of a jet. He can make foes see images he has seen or what he imagines in his head. He can understand human speech. Even if he is hiding, Latios can detect the locations and emotions of others using telepathy. Like his sister Latias, Latios can enfold his body with a glass-like down to refract light which can render him invisible or alter his appearance (an exclusive type of Transformation).

In the movie ''[[M05|Pokémon Heroes]]'' and manga ''[[Pokémon Adventures]]'' Latias and Latios also had the ability "Sight Sharing" which allowed Latias and people around her to see exactly what Latios was seeing. [[Oakley]] also mentioned that he can shape-shift like Latias, although he was never seen doing so during the course of the movie, apart from the deleted storybook scene that was present only in the Japanese version of the movie. Latios was seen disguised as a boy and Latias as a girl.

It first aired in Japan on March 24, 2011 and first aired in the United States on July 16, 2011.

==Synopsis==
As the episode starts, a trio of {{p|Patrat}} are getting some apples from a tree. They manage to collect a lot of apples! Nearby, an {{p|Emolga}} watches as it pretends to be exhausted as it uses {{m|Attract}} to swindle the Patrat of their apples. Later, {{Ash}}, {{an|Iris}}, {{an|Cilan}}, and {{an|Bianca}}, who is revealed to be traveling with the group on their journey to [[Nimbasa City]], are just finishing lunch as Iris brings in some apples for the group for dessert. Bianca complains that apples aren't true dessert, saying that chocolate is. Suddenly, [[Ash's Oshawott]] pops out of his [[Poké Ball]] and eats an apple and becomes happy. Suddenley, {{TP|Iris|Axew}}'s apple rolls down a hill as he goes after it. The Emolga that stole apples from the Patrat sees Axew running down the hill, so she comes out and catches the apple. She is about to leave until she sees Iris's big plate of apples.

Emolga begins thinking of a plan to get the group's apples, and gives Axew his apple back. Everything goes as planned for Emolga, as Iris thanks Emolga by giving her the plate of apples, but Bianca, out of nowhere, grabs Emolga and smothers her in hugs. Ash and Cilan, along with {{AP|Pikachu}} and {{AP|Oshawott}} follows behind, admiring Emolga's cuteness. Deciding that she wants to catch it, Bianca sends out {{TP|Bianca|Minccino}} to battle Emolga. As Emolga fires {{m|Attract}} at Minccino, but Minccino counters by using an Attract attack of his own. However, Emolga's wins out, and just before it hits Minccino, [[Ash's Oshawott]] takes the hit, and becomes attracted with Emolga, much to Ash's frustration, so he recalls Oshawott to his [[Poké Ball]].

Emolga then flees as Bianca, Iris, and Axew go after it, with Ash, Cilan and Pikachu following. Emolga stops on a tree branch and sees more fruit growing on the tree. Emolga remembers a sinister Bianca and Minccino, as it angrily grabs two apples and chows them down. Iris and Axew catch up to Emolga, and Axew offers its apple to Emolga. Iris claims that Axew has a little crush on Emolga, and Axew starts dancing. The Flying Squirrel Pokémon decides to use the same plan as before with Axew, but Bianca appears on the scene again. After a brief battle with Bianca's Minccino once again, Emolga flees into [[tall grass]], with Axew and Iris in pursuit. Ash and Cilan catch up, and Ash suggests that Bianca should give up, but she refuses, so the trio continue to search.

Meanwhile, as Iris and Axew finally spot Emolga, Axew and Emolga start sliding down a hillside, and Iris goes after them and catches them in her arms. Unfortunately, the rock they're on breaks from the main hill, and they slide into the forest. There, they stumble upon a {{p|Swoobat}}'s nest! After Emolga fights off the Swoobat, they rest at a nearby lake. Emolga decides to play a little game in the water by throwing {{m|Hidden Power}} orbs into the water, creating ripples. However, she accidentaly makes one way to strong, creating a big wave in the lake that splashes a nearby Swoobat. So the whole nest of Swoobat begin to chase the trio again, but they escape. Meanwhile, Ash, Cilan and Bianca go down the hill, after Iris and Emolga. As they continue their search, they get attacked by a {{p|Scolipede}} and a {{p|Galvantula}} because Bianca misinterprets their rustling in the trees to be Emolga.

Meanwhile, Iris, along with Axew and Emolga, hide behind a rock from the Swoobat until they use {{m|Round}} to expose them. Surrounded, Iris desperately calls out {{TP|Iris|Excadrill}} for help, but as usual, Excadrill ignores Iris. Emolga then uses Attract on the Swoobat (and Excadrill by accident), but the female Swoobat are unaffected. Ash, Cilan, and Bianca then arrive on the scene as they combat the Swoobat. Ash's Pikachu uses {{m|Thunderbolt}}, but there are still more Swoobat! Suddenley, Oshawott appears again and prepares to defend Emolga. However, he is quickly defeated by a powerful {{m|Charge Beam}} and recalled. So Pikachu and Emolga use a Thunderbolt-{{m|Hidden Power}} combo to defeat the remaining Swoobat. Bianca, impressed by Emolga's strength, still wants to capture her, but decides to give so she won't get shocked again.

Back at their picnic table, Cilan decides to make a "special dinner" for the group, consisting of apples. Suddenly, Emolga appears and jumps into Iris's arms. Ash says that Emolga likes her so Iris decides to capture her.

==Biology==

Drapion is a large, purple, scorpion-like Pokémon. Its eyes are a pointed shape, with blue-colored upper portions. Drapion has two small, pointed protrusions between its eyes, and one on the back on its head. Drapion also has protrusions on its jaws, two on the upper and three on the lower, with large, fang-like, white-colored features extending from its mouth. Its body is composed of many violet-to-lavender body segments which ends with a tail with two stingers. Drapion has four segmented legs with pointed toes. Its most distinguished feature is its huge claws, which have a blue circular marking on the undersides, a similar marking being on the tail, and the fact that it can turn its head 180º.

This Pokémon is very strong, and has enough power to easily scrap a car. It's also encased in a tough exoskeleton and it is very poisonous. It can rotate its head 180 degrees, and can also extend its tail.

Possessing a sturdy build, it takes pride in its strength, being able to take down foes without using venoms.

===Habitat===
It is probably native to dry desert areas, much like {{p|Skorupi}}. However, it is found in Pastoria City's [[Great Marsh]].

Bulbasaur was captured in ''[[AG073|Grass Hysteria]]'', although she had been featured in the series opening, ''[[Challenger!!]]'', for a short while before that. May was kidnapped by a hungry {{p|Skarmory}} and ended up lost in a place called the Forbidden Forest, a preserve for {{type2|Grass}} Pokémon. There, May met a clumsy Bulbasaur trying to pick flowers. Bulbasaur warmed up to May after she saved the little Grass-type from a fall, but the other Grass-type Pokémon repeatedly tried to attack May. However, Bulbasaur explained to {{p|Venusaur}}, the ruler of the Forbidden Forest, that May was a friend. Before May had to leave, Bulbasaur decided to stay with her.

As a Bulbasaur, she was distinctive from [[Ash's Bulbasaur]] in three ways: she had a gentler personality, a pair of heart-shaped spots on her forehead and she was able to use the move {{m|Petal Dance}} as opposed to Ash's Bulbasaur's use of the technique {{m|SolarBeam}}.

She is also very fond of flowers. She became friends with Ash's Bulbasaur when Ash temporarily brought it to Hoenn in ''[[AG074|Hokey Poké Balls!]]'' and further bonded with it in ''[[AG133|The Right Place at the Right Mime]]'', when May decided to leave her at {{an|Professor Oak}}'s ranch. Eventually, after journeying to Johto, May got Bulbasaur back from Oak, and during her time away from Ash, it evolved twice into {{p|Ivysaur}} and {{p|Venusaur}}.

===Origin===
Keldeo's was most likely based off a combination of the legend of the {{wp|kelpie}}, a supernatural water horse that sometimes appeared as a lost pony, and a {{wp|unicorn}}. Keldeo may also be inspired by the character of {{wp|d'Artagnan}} from the novel ''{{wp|The Three Musketeers}}''. Like d'Artagnan, he is the latest and youngest addition to the group. Keldeo's tail also resembles d'Artagnan's trademark feathered cap.

Jessie caught Seviper in ''[[AG008|A Tail with a Twist]]'' after initially being impressed with its sneaky and aggressive demeanor. It had defeated [[Ash's Sceptile|Ash's Treecko]] earlier in the episode, which is why Jessie wanted it so much. Although Seviper was intelligent, and outsmarted Team Rocket's multiple attempts to ensure its capture, Jessie caught Seviper after it had bitten off a chunk of her hair, mangling poor Seviper with her "{{m|Fury Swipes}}" and "{{m|Mega Kick}}".

Seviper is, along with {{TP|Jessie|Yanmega}}, Jessie's primary [[Pokémon battle|battling]] Pokémon, often seen battling alongside [[James's Cacnea]] in [[Hoenn]] and later [[James's Carnivine]] in [[Sinnoh]]. While shown to be fairly powerful before being caught by Jessie, after it fell into her command, it suffered the inevitable fate that all Team Rocket Pokémon face- defeat by {{Ash}} or another good character. In the episode ''[[AG048|ZigZag Zangoose]]'', Jessie and Seviper were determined to win a battle against Seviper's mortal enemy, a {{p|Zangoose}} belonging to the trainer [[Nicholai]].

Seviper has also entered a few {{Pkmn|Contest}}s. In ''Mademoiselle Jessica'''s contest debut, in ''[[AG013|All Things Bright and Beautifly!]]'', Seviper was Jessie's chosen Pokémon to enter the contest, but miserably failed to pass the Appeal Round, as Jessie didn't prepare herself to the contest, and ordered Seviper to use attacks that Seviper can't learn, such as {{m|Blaze Kick}}. She is then seen apologizing to it, meaning she does care about Seviper. In ''[[DP027|Settling a Not-So-Old Score!]]'', ''Jessilina'' used Seviper in the Appeal Round. Not much of the Appeal was seen, because while Seviper was performing it, {{an|Dawn}} was thinking about her {{tP|Dawn|Pachirisu}}'s Appeal, focusing the attention on her, not in Jessie. However, {{si|Kenny}} stated that Seviper was being quite good. The appeal ends with Jessie ordering Seviper to perform {{m|Wrap}} and {{m|Bite}} on Jessie herself, and thus, amazing the crowd.

In the episode ''[[DP041|A Stand-Up Sit-Down!]]'', ''Jessilina'' decided to face {{an|Dawn}} to "practice" for the [[Hearthome City]] contest. However, it was [[Zoey]] who accepted the challenge. Jessie used the combination of Seviper and {{TP|Jessie|Dustox}} and her idea was to make Dustox use {{m|Poison Sting}} and then to make Seviper use {{m|Poison Tail}} on Dustox's {{m|Poison Sting}}, making it spin and added extra-power to it. {{an|Brock}} even said that that was a smart combination. However, that didn't work as [[Zoey's Glameow]] countered with {{m|Iron Tail}}, making the combination going to other side around and then Zoey's {{p|Shellos}} used {{m|Mud Bomb}}, breaking the combination of {{m|Poison Sting}} and {{m|Poison Tail}}. Seviper and Dustox both were then easily defeated by Zoey's Glameow.
In ''[[DP049|Dawn's Early Night]]'' Seviper and Dustox were used in the Battle Round of the [[Hearthome City]] contest and lost against [[Nando]]. Not much of the battle was seen. In ''[[DP123|Old Rivals, New Tricks]]'' it was also used in the battle round of a Contest and it was quite successful until it lost to {{an|Dawn}}.

Since Jessie has caught {{TP|Jessie|Yanmega}}, Seviper isn't seen in as many battles as before. It is also used as Team Rocket's escapist rogue to blanket the area in {{m|Haze}}, replacing [[James's Weezing]]'s duty to steal innocent Pokémon under the shrouded premises.

In ''[[DP161|Yes, in Dee Dee it's Dawn!]]'' and ''[[DP162|Playing the Performance Encore]]'', Jessie used Seviper for the [[Daybreak Town]] {{pkmn|Contest}}. In the appeals round, it made an entrance by coming out of its [[Poké Ball]], which was placed inside [[James's Carnivine]]'s mouth. In the next episode, it battled alongside Yanmega.

In ''[[DP167|Teaching the Student Teacher!]]'', Jessie used it this time for the [[Neighborly Town]] {{pkmn|Contest}}, where it was used for the appeals round, aiding her win her fourth [[ribbon]]. In ''[[DP171|Dawn of a Royal Day!]]'', Jessie used again for the [[Katakuri Town]] {{pkmn|Contest}} in the battle round, where it fought [[Princess Salvia]] (disguised as Dawn) and her [[Dawn's Togekiss|Togekiss]]. After a fierce battle it lost, but Salvia gave her the ribbon for the performance she gave during their battle, allowing her to enter in the [[Sinnoh Grand Festival]].

In the Grand Festival, Jessie used Seviper multiple times, including the Appeals Round, a battle with {{TP|Jessie|Yanmega}} as well as a battle alongside{{TP|James| Carnivine}}. However, Jessie lost her final battle to {{an|Dawn}}.

*In Jessie's first encounter with Seviper, she was taller than Seviper. However, in recent episodes, Seviper is much taller than her. This could be an error on the animator's part, or could just simply mean it has grown during its time under Jessie's ownership.
