== Sleeping in Generation III ==

I've noticed that the move in Emerald works in the following way:

:'''Turn 0 (When used)'''. The user regains health and falls asleep.
:'''Turn 1'''. The user is asleep.
:'''Turn 2'''. The user is asleep.
:'''Turn 3'''.The user wakes up and performs an attack if ordered.

Does it work in Generation I games in the same way? If yes, the description should be corrected. If no, a description for Generation III ought to be added. --[[User:Pokeresp|Pokeresp]] 13:47, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

:In Generation I, you probably have to wait a turn before giving more orders, as that was how sleep worked at the time, but I think that change was made between I and II rather than II and III, I could be wrong, but I think that's when, but that was a change made with regards to sleep that effected Rest, rather than a direct change to Rest. That said, it probably should be mentioned. [[User:Gastlys mama|Gastlys mama]] 22:31, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
I think it should be noted that even if a Pokemon with Rest is already afflicted by a status condition (example, a wild Snorlax with Paralysis), Rest will nullify this condition in a strange case of being able to "stack" status ailments.
