Marking Solarbeam as a STAB move
In most pages, Solarbeam isn't marked as a STAB move for Fire pokémon, since it usually isn't Fire type. However, in the case of Castform, any time that Castform is Fire, so is Solarbeam. Because of this, I marked Solarbeam as a STAB move for Castform's Fire type form. User142 (Talk) 10:11, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

Your logic is flawed for two reasons: one is quite simply that Solarboam is not powered up during strong sunlight (but rather becomes a one-turn move), the other is that whatever the case, STAB refers only to boosts due to type. This means that even if you were correct about Solarbeam's boost, it would still not be called STAB. If to elaborate, during strong sunlight or rain, not only does Castform type change (hence STAB), but Fire or Water-type moves receive an equivalent boost to that of STAB. It is necessary to distinguish between the two effects, if only for the fact that they can be combined into a 2.25 boost when a Fire or Water-type Pokémon (or Castform) is involved. Treating them as one effectively disregards that advantage - a vital one in Castform's case.

As a rule, the different terminology are best left separate. This also applies to base stats and type effectiveness - factoring Defense and Special Defense into the latter results in meaningless statistics. Simply put, the damage formula is not in direct proportion to the defense stat, unlike your assumption in computing the numbers. I will be glad to explain the formula at length if you are not convinced, as I hope to recruit you to revert your many edits pertaining to type effectiveness. --Unown Lord

Reading your sentence again, it seems that I was confused as to the source of your misconception. I imagined you had thought Solarbeam was powered up under strong sunlight in addition to Fire-type moves, which I could understand, but you actually seem to have thought its type changed. Either way, it is a mistake.

I will say that in Castform's case, weather effects deserve to be taken into account when computing type effectiveness in the same way Ninetales' Flash Fire ability is factorized. However, you considered weather effects as doubling or halving, when it is, in fact, a 1.5 or 0.66 multiplier. --Unown Lord

Biology
Azelf is a legendary Pokémon that is part of the Psychic-type trio along with Uxie and Mesprit. It has a small blue body about the size of Mew, and is identical to Uxie and Mesprit except for its head. It has a blue cone shaped head with a jewel embedded in its forehead and also two blue dropping ears and yellow eyes. It is referred to as "The Being of Willpower". It can either make people give up on an activity or cause them to attempt the activity repeatedly. Residing and sleeping at the base of a lake, it keeps the world in balance. If Azelf is harmed, the attacker, after five days, will become indefinitely immobile.

In Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, the trio is captured by Team Galactic, and they are freed by the protagonist. They attempt to stop Dialga or Palkia from overwhelming Sinnoh later in the game. After defeating Dialga or Palkia, Azelf returns to Lake Valor.

Well, he looks more like a cat to me. I'm pretty sure he does to everyone though. Thats not good though, since he IS one of the legendary dogs. I say everyone knew that too.

:Raikou is not one of the "Legendary Dogs". It's one of the Legendary Beasts. However, "Legendary Cats" is more correct than "Dogs"... Entei is a lion, Raikou is a tiger and Suicune is a cheetah. - Taylor 21:49, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
Trivia Section
In the trivia section the following is stated:

"Raikou is the only pre-Generation IV legendary Pokémon that Ash hasn't met in real life. However, he did see a mecha-Raikou inside Wattson's Gym."

But if I'm thinking correctly then Ash has also never met a Porygon2 in real life. Should this be corrected or am I missing something?

It features Latios and Latias.

It was released in Japan on July 13, 2002. Distributed on limited release by Miramax, it opened in select American theaters on May 16, 2003.

In Latin America, it was the last Pokémon movie to be dubbed to the Spanish language; the series continued to be dubbed in México, however.
Summary
Ash, Misty, Brock, and Pikachu come across the beautiful canal city of Alto Mare and decide to take a break from battling. However, unknown to our friends and the people of Alto Mare, two thieves decide to steal the Soul Dew, a trinket which holds the key to Alto Mare's defense systems and a great power. Ash must battle to save Alto Mare and its people.
Trivia
* Director Kunihiko Yuyama looked to Venice, Italy for inspiration when designing Alto Mare.
* In a throwback to Pokémon 2000, Annie and Oakley are reading about Lawrence III during the credits of the movie.
* Images of Mewtwo, Lugia, Entei, and Celebi were hidden in the movie.
* This is the first movie to feature the death of a Pokémon.

Errors
* In the scene before the movie where Brock tells how Ash got Pikachu, Ash is pictured fully clothed - in the episode in question, Ash was still in his pajamas. Also, Pikachu is pictured like he and Ash already were friends. In the episode however, Pikachu hated Ash and it was first in the end they become friends.

Dub edits
The entire backstory of the movie was changed in the dub.
A segment of approximately two minutes, which told the story of the origin of the Soul Dew in Alto Mare's ancient history, was cut. This cut also removed the reference to the fact that many Latios and Latias came and went to and from Alto Mare frequently, causing some confusion to dub watchers when two Latios and a Latias appeared in the credits.
Replacement backstory was added in the form of dialogue telling about an evil trainer who once attacked the people of the city with a Kabutops and Aerodactyl, until Latios brought water to the town, drowning the evil Pokémon and turning the streets to canals.

Also, in the American DVD release of the movie, an intense blue tint was applied, making most of the colors much darker than in the original.
Trivia
The prototype name for Dragonair was "Dragyn," a play on the word "dragon."
*Dragonair is the only Pokémon who shrinks when it evolves
Origin
It appears to be based on sea serpents or lóng, traditional Chinese dragons who bring good luck.
Name origin
Dragonair's name appears to be a combination of dragon and air, referring to its ability to change the weather, or "lair", the home of a dragon. It may also be a play on the word debonair. Hakuryū could be taken to mean 白竜, white dragon. Hakuryu was also the name of the dragonlike companion of Hakai from the legend of the journey to the west in Buddhist lore.
Trivia
The prototype name for Dragonair was "Dragyn," a play on the word "dragon."
